just wondering.. whats up with Americans/ems personell and huge ars cars/suv/trucks and their big engines? It's not like your going to speed across all terrain mountains to get to an emergancy scene...

Im not really one to talk but around here my inline 6 is great on the hills. and yes its a Jeep so i can get just about anywhere a quad can. hehe and i can carry more.

I hear ya talking sister...ditto for mine. And actually, in the rural hills of NH I do use my 4WD quite often when responding to calls...mud season, snow season...I've been the first one on scene of a cardiac call with a 1/2 mile of unplowed snow between me and the patient ( had the 4wd plow truck then, and a good thing , too) . It doesn't have to be HUGE, it just has to get me there.

I live in fairly populated area, I have a big truck, and I have 3 acres of land, so truck, lots of land, lots of trees, and a honey do list as long as your leg...haulin stuff!

2002 Red Grand Am...my kids call it my "sporty mom car" lol

also have a '94 Red Toyota Tercel "the tomato"..great gas mileage for the long commute to work

and a '97 Red Ford F-250....think I like red??
