  1. Thats one of the funniest things i have ever seen....+500 for a top come-back!
  2. You know it was quite an informative read until you posted this BS line at the end What do you think you are some kind of pioneer for doing this? Irony is if you do get bashed, it wont be because you are a basic, but because you threw in a whining whinging little tantrum comment at the end. Personal experience and expert opinion though valid, are the lowest form of evidence in EBM. What you refferred to as a "spate" of literature is what you should be referring to. Personal opinion and expert opinion are not research, so in fact you really did nothing except have a phone call with your pal and post it here. You seem surprised that adminsitration of one CNS depressent with another CNS depressent may in fact....wait for it.....depress the CNS?
  3. And yet the picture next to it is yours
  4. on one of my on-road practicums...i saw an ER doc squirt the D50 into a cup and get the patient to drink it
  5. I wouldn't mind casting a brick at that person. Interestingly enough this was an issue that arose in my former vollie fire brigade. A general meeting was called and it was decided, and voted upon that any person found to be using their uniform in order to gain discounts, they could be suspended on the spot by any field officer for a period of 4 months, thereby negating the need for a general meeting to be called for this purpose and waiting the 3 weeks before action could be taken. Needless to say this has not happened again, though i know of very few volunteer units, if any, that take steps in my area that are designed to MAKE the brigade/unit operate more effectively
  6. While i dont understand you environment, id have to say i have a little bit of experience with that here. An effort was made to build some form of first responder system into rural fire brigades here, and it failed dismally. Not from lack of interest or poor administration. but generally true rural people are involved, and they are really the proper stakeholders in volunteer fire. They are their own services, if they dont volunteer, they get nothing. Its far more realistic and easier for them to do their own first aid training (which as landholders and primary producers is tax deductable) than to embed the program into their fire brigades
  7. How thoughtfully presumptuous of you! Its a shame that you have once again made an ass out of yourself from your ASSumption Look bubbles, fortunately for me i come from a country where i am able to buy a beer at the same age that i am allowed to join the military, this would be 18. Fancy that! im NOT allowed to be in a position where i may be forced to kill people before i can have my scotch on the rocks! Seeing as this would at least make me 18, and im actually 23 i guess i cover the undergae drinking part quite substantially, No? I like reading these sorts of accusation from monkeys like yourself...i think you may be a genuine flamer, if so pick up you banana and leave, theres already enough vegetables around here without adding another fruitcake to the basket Thanks for the laugh though, i needed that
  8. Because it was made in new zealand and we try not to allow crap into our country
  9. =D> :lol:/ :thumbright: :lol:/ =D> One of the funniest things ive seen for a while...oon ya ak!
  10. i get ya.....was a bit slow on the uptake. Bought it from the states....... THANK YOU EBAY!
  11. ummmm what do you mean what the hell is that?
  12. I always liked the NEANN bags, the quality of construction is simply outstanding, though the first aid backpacks are near useless for their size, i think there are much better backpack on the market for the same money

  14. Timmy yours is a 300 dollar masterpiece of semi rigid soft pack engineering! Before someone price bashes, this is the price of a good bag here in aus
  15. The name Douglas Bader comes to mind, but he passed awayu a long time ago
  16. Settle down schoolgirls or youll both be handing out the fresh undies in the english locker room
  17. "excuse me sir...do you have a pacemaker? i cant taze you if you have a pace maker?" - no response - "DO YOU HAVE A PACEMAKER?" -draws glock from holster-
  18. It is a bit of a one trick pony.......i think he had a 16, 2 x 18's and a couple of 20ishes in the outside and some spare inside with the opsites and tape - just the essentials, but at the price they go for id almost have one kit on each bag of hartmanns
  19. i used a stat packs IV roll the other week...it wasn't in my kit and i needed to sink the pin in a hurry, so i didn'tt really have much time to look. I guess theres a bonus right there because i got what i wanted in 2 seconds flat. My only real complaint i guess is that it doesn't hold much - but unless your not re-sticking between calls that probably not a problem I like it! But talking about rolls, the Stat Packs intubation role is just phenominal!
  20. I have a stat packs and if there other items are as well made as the one i have...the others should be made very well, though i dont know about the layouts of the others:S
