I think thats a great idea! see how different hospitals treat different people, especially see how you are treated if you have no insurance compared to if you do, I always see people being discriminated based on there insurance or if they have it or not.
It could affect how they care for a patient, and honestly they need to watch there mouth, obviously it could get them in a world of shyt. Most radios here have identifiers on them, so you really ahve to be careful.
I agree with gaelic! GOOD JOB to this fire fighter! And I love the comment about fire fighters have nothing better to do.. So I guess all fire fighters should just quit and let stuff burn...interesting.....
Well, its basically someone who has CPR and/or standard first aid or just a driver, it doesn't show up on our PCR's. Its not recognized. PA also has CC medic, they can transport more drugs and handle balloon pumps and a few other things.
Well Pennsylvania has the following:
Ambulance Attendant --which I never heard before here.
First Responder
EMT-Basic
EMT-Paramedic*
Prehospital Registered Nurse
Health Professional Physician
there is also a critical care paramedic, which is for a few more drugs to do and balloon pump.
There was talk about EMT-I here, but I think pigs will fly before that happens.
Richard, Good point! Now you got me thinking... and as for door codes, a few hospitals use taht here or teh "0911#" code, but yes it is kinda dumb to use, but easier for us, I have a pad with all teh codes written on it.
