About Me

Mike Cyra worked in emergency medicine for over twenty-years as an EMT on ambulances, the Chief Medical Officer on a 680ft ship sailing Alaska's violent Bering Sea, a Level-I Trauma/Burn Center trained Surgical Technologist, a Tissue Specialist, harvesting organs, bone and tissues from beating-heart cadavers, a Certified Instructor of Basic Life Support and an instructor of Advanced Emergency Medical Procedures for the Maritime industry.

Until recently, he was a volunteer with his local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program and Medical Reserve Corps.
