Well that is a good question that I want to understand.

I don't have any plans yet being that I'm ignorant of this field but really want to know how to go about this whole thing.

My brothers friend just became a paramedic through the BYUI paramedic program which is a 4 year degree, the first part being academic and the later being the paramedic program itself.

I don't know if something like that is best or how well that program over there is.

I want the most training and education on being a paramedic.

My local technical college has a 2 semester program for becoming a paramedic.

Welcome to the city.

It is more than just a job to spend some time doing.

It takes a desire to be the best & always continue learning.

It takes a desire to help people in their worst times. [ at least to them]

It takes long hours and lots of lost sleep.

It takes many missed or ruined meals.

It takes people skills on a level far from the norm.

a 2 year or 4 year college degree program will be more beneficial that a 2 semester medic mill program.
