I belong to an EMS company that falls under the auspices of the FD ( Basically we're a separate Company within the FD), basically, the truck company does the heavy extrication/rescue

we have the adult MAST on our trucks, but they are never used I don't think that NYS even tests on them anymore on the practical exams I've had my card since 1991 and have NEVER ( never had to ) used them except in My EMT original course.

WOW!!!!!! that's almost as much as we carry on an entire ambulance ( minus some ALS supplies ) I carry pretty much what most other people have, minus the oxygen.
