    If you mean drive safely to ER I agree. If you are saying driving like a bat at of hell I disagree. The few seconds to couple of minutes saved in city services will make no difference. In frontier areas like mine the 5-10 minutes saved probably won't make a difference if they are that bad. But if while driving fast, blowing intersection the ambulance crashes you have lots more patients and the one you were giving a diesel bolus to still dies.

    Doc you sure outdated diesel therapy doesn't work. Makes it hard to work and often leads to additional trauma patients.

    Texas does not require a seperate test but you cannot practice with just the NR you must pay the state and wait for them to issue a certification. New Mexico may or may not require you to take a test, depends on the school you took for Paramedic as to whether the NR will be enough to just pay the cash for the New Mexico Certification. you will also find that many NR states require you to pass a state specific protocol exam.

    The good old days when we could fight until we beat someone into submission. You are very right that this place used to be much busier and had quality topics that were debated heated. The problem is many of us got tired and have just drifted away from the forum.

    Even with NR some require you to take a state test as well. Other states just take your cash and a copy of your NR. NR is not a license to practice just shows you passed a test.

    Every country I have been to or seen photos of ambulances from are very similar in basic appearance so I say bull on not knowing.
