I have worked where we had private discussions about problems with calls. Then we had shift meetings every few weeks where treatment issues were discussed as a group. Often a person would say hey that was me learn from my mistake but if they were to embarrassed about their mistake no one knew who had made the mistake. Really worked good because it helped a person get retrained in private. Sometimes in private they would even cry when they realized how bad their screw up was. Had the initial discussion been in public could have led to more problems issues.

If you need to carry something on your person or your car your service should provide it. You want me to respond off duty you provide me what I need. There is no reason for a person to have to buy their own equipment. Not talking about some awesome toy I mean tool that is not a real need for anyone but actual supplies and tools that are actually needed.

But if I owned them I wouldn't loan myself anything so then I wouldn't be paying myself.

Welcome to the city. Not real familiar with East Texas. Might try Scott and White in the Temple area. There are also some of the massive corporations in that area. Look at some of the smaller county city services like Granbury(sp?) EMS.

Easy solution is become a paid department.

I agree that all gun transactions should require the back ground check(store purchase, gun show purchase, private purchase). It is simple, much like the 30 seconds it takes to determine if you can have a credit card or not.

So no fully automatics. Basically those are already outlawed in the USA, takes a lot of money and time to qualify for one. So the guns used were semi auto so the ban would not affect them, so no change. 10 rounds? That means even most of the old 22s that were a kids first gun would be illegal as they hold more than 10. So almost every pistol would be banned as they hold mags that hold more than 10. My concealed carry has 10 shells but also has a factory mag that holds 17. How are we going to make sure the bad guys only have 10 shots as well?

Good so the semi autos that are used in this case would not be banned by you as they are not automatic.
