The last CD I made was for use in the bus, and on my FD's rescue truck... oddly enough, it has a CD player...

1. "Real Gone" - Sheryl Crow (when we go cruisin')

2. "Life is a Highway" - Rascal Flatts (My partner requested I add that one... I didn't ask, just did... then after listening to it, decided I LIKE it)

3. Rockin' into the Night - .38 Special (I work night shift...)

4. Wild Nights - John Melencamp

5. Authority Song - John Mellencamp (Just for those who have issues with authori-tay!)

6. We built this city (on rock and roll) - Journey

7. Come Sail Away - Styx (just for those psycho pts who are hallucinating)

8. Only the good die young - Billy Joel

9. We Didn't Start the Fire - Billy Joel

10. Suicide is Painless - Theme from M*A*S*H

11. Oh What a Night - Four Seasons (played at the end of shift) :D/

6 pages in and there are two obvious omissions:

1) Creeping Death-Metallica

2) Ride the Lightning-Metallica

For my own submissions:

1) Walk the Line-Johnny Cash, it has been remade by several other artists, but the original is still the best.

2) Sunday Mornin' Coming Down-Johnny Cash

3) Fat Bottomed Girls-Queen

4) Pressure-Billy Joel, the Queen/David Bowie version always makes me think of Vanilla Ice and some unfortunate record purchases in the past

5) Steve McQueen-Sheryl Crow, just for the irony

6) I Love This Bar-Toby Keith

7) I Ain't as Good as I Once Was-Toby Keith

8) Life is a Highway-Tom Cochrane, he released it in the mid-90's, and I think it sounds better than the newer version by Rascal Flatts

9) Crush 'Em-Megadeth, the entrance bass line is great

10) Suspicious Minds-Elvis Presley, because, well, we all have one...or do we?

And finally, after a long day, with entirely too much societal refuse:

11) Happy Happy, Joy Joy-Ren and Stimpy soundtrack, kind of helps to put the mind right before you get home to people who just don't care about your work life.

Ok.. someone HAS to make us copies of these... I don't have access to all of them... or even 2/3 of them.. someone should put together the "ultimate EMTCity CD".

Oh, and if we're allowed to use Country.. I could come up with several... although the rest of you may want to steal my truck, shoot my dog, and hide my beer!
