-5 for the 2nd douche nozzle medic....... :thebirdman:
There is no excuse for this to have happened. And can you say conflict of interest on the cops part...WTF????? But hey lets promote her for a job (hand)well done :ky: :pottytrain2:
Why do EMT's even exist???? Why not go to school and BAM!,your a paramedic. Why have all the different "levels"? All programs should be revamped. No EMT-B,I,OPQRST, just 2 years and then kablaam, Paramedic. :occasion9:
I'm not sure what's worse, the actual FDNY or other departments that ride the "Hero"coat tails of FDNY. But I guess it is dangerous work eating tubs of ice cream and dropping the soap in the showers at the fire house......lets not forget the risk of sleep apnea whilst waiting for "The big one", and I don't mean the rookie sneaking into the Captains quarters...
First off I would like to thank Dust for setting me straight. I apologize for the stupid post. It was only meant to stir up some discussion. I really did not think anyone would really think I was serious. As far as what a "Raped Ape" looks like, I'm not sure. Kinda like a half f**ked fox in a forest fire.......
I'm sorry for the immature post.
I could care less,as long as the lights are flashing and the siren is activated,I run like a raped ape! Red lights and stop signs don't mean shiit when seconds count.
We can go as fast as we want, but like one of the other posts, you crash and it's your hide on the line. I rarely use the siren (Hurts my ears) only the lights. KABLAAAM!!!!
I think people forget that EMT's and Paramedics are special people and we should work towards good pt. care and out comes. It's not about ALS/BLS, we all share the same skills. I have been an EMT for 3 years and my skill level is very high! I read and research tons of material. I am good at what I do,and many paramedics think I am special. I have a gift. I started at least 3 IV's in 2 months. I know what I'm doing.
