    EMS mag has a breakdown every year. It goes by state, for all levels. You may have to do some digging, but may be able to find it.

    A lot of states have made it a felony now. They also state it as "EMS worker", so it covers public and private workers!

    I love that last sentence! I piss off a lot of EMT's that work with me, because I make them use the KED on a lot of scenes.

    Get the one with the tracks. Even on 3-4 steps, they are much easier on the provider and the pt. I use the stryker all the time. I set the power stretcher outside the house and use the stair chair to bring the pt out to it. Yes, the tracks stay upright, until you need them. They are nice for moving in tight houses.

    Dude, this thread is over a year and half old! BTW- I have turned away many RN's and MD's from a scene. Most have no experience in emergency care.
