I have been an EMT for 7 years and I am happy at that level, I also do not have time or money to go to medic school at this time and I have no interest in becoming a medic at this time.

And as for the paragod comment, its not every medic that is like that.... There are EMT's like that also

Richard, theres a few local companies that have that type you mentioned, but I have never rode in one, my service don't have one.

anyway, PA has had easy pass for a while, works well, but if you are coding on it, you don't need it.

Every service in PA that I know of has a Medical director.

I work out of a van, I think the older MedTech vans are bigger then new Wheeled Coach vans, at least at my company.

We dont use FD for EMS help.

Wow, Ive been an EMT for 7 yrs and Im in the "less than 1 year" bracket........wish I had a job like stoopid has.

I am a non-fire dept based EMT (private service) and I wish I could make more, I make more then most EMT's I know, but I'd love it to be more. So, I have to agree with Dust....numbers please?....
