hahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa

There is now a easy button installed on the side wall of the open space between the driver and the patient compartment of the truck I used yesterday, and are popping up all over the squads in the region. Staples sells the talking plastic version for like....3 bucks.

I used it once, for a 600 pound woman on the 2nd floor with chest pain. It worked, firemen showed up and the world was good...

We had an "Easy" button, but it died a tragic death of overuse. Some people just want everything easy.

I think there'a few students in my class that could plain wear one out.

We could have used one last week when we had a call similar to PRPG's. I guess ours wasn't working properly, because the hose monkeys were late arriving. They showed up just as we were loading the pt. I instantly was reminded of the snowplow driver, you know, waiting around the corner until you finish shoveling before making his pass and consequently, plowing you in.

Trauma codes...(even though I love working them...) It would be nice if they always worked. *EASY*.....oh...and

my usual...Peds calls...(because I very much dislike them...) *EASY*.

I think I'm gonna buy one. Not very supersititious, but hey...it can't hurt to try...

xoxoxo

An easy button would have been nice for the 600lb woman I once had in an MVA, she somehow fit herself into a Geo Metro. I am getting chills just thinking about again.

I always wanted a strangle button on our radios. That way if dispatch said something stupid we could give them some street justice.

"Priority 1 Cardiac Arrest, 26 yo male states he is in car..aaaaaaaaackkckckckckcckckc"

That would be sweet.

Peace,

Marty

At one hospital I worked at, the x-ray techs glued a bogus knob to the front of the film processor that wasn't attached to anything and labelled it "Processor Speed" with an arrow for "Faster." It did nothing, but it was entertaining, nonetheless. When some resident would come in yelling "where are my films," they would reach down and turn it to appease him.
