All I can really say for certain is that if a transexual were to be recognised as such, especially post surgically, they would be devastated. A transexual has only one desire, and that's to be accepted as an individual of their preferred gender. I've known TS individuals, some of which were close friends, to commit suicide solely because someone heard from someone else that she used to be a guy and "outed" them because it would be fun. My only real exposure to a transsexual/cross dresser, at a previous employer we had a mechanic who cross dressed, he would come in with some eye liner still on, or fingernail polish still on.
