Nudity on TV and Movies

It seems the male brain processes visual information differently from the female brain. An area known as the amygdala is much more active in males who receive the same visual information when compared to females. This may indicate a very different emotional response. I dare say this is pretty consistent from an evolutionary biology standpoint where a male needs to be good at appreciating and responding to female visual cues. This should in part be consistent with the "stereotyped" male response to visual erotica and related media.

Take care,

chbare.

According to american standards, a penis can be shown on TV if is for medical or educational reasons as long as it is flaccid.

On TV? Must be Public Broadcasting System. As for the 2 guys in "Hall Pass", they were also in that status, as was the central character in "Boogie Nights".

Full frontal nudity - bah, nothing to get so worked up against.

I want to see the naked female but keep the naked dong away.

I don't really see what the big deal about nudity is. I mean when you can see most anything in most primetime TV or on cable and even on late night HBO you can see the ARt of Porn where almost everything is shown.

No parental controls for kids who want to see this stuff.

I personally will try to keep my children away from this type of stuff for as long as I can but I am a realist and I know that eventually my child will see full frontal nudity. I just can hope that he will ask me about it at the time he sees it.

I don't want him getting his information from planned parenthood or the local school system.

I hope to be the one that he comes to after he's seen this stuff

Am I going to freak out when he does say he's seen this, NOPE not in the least.

Its not that women can't find a penis in film if they search hard enough, it is that someone else is determining that they cant see one in a movie, while females are shown nude all the time. I liken it to laws that forbid you to buy alcohol on Sundays. Yes I have 6 other days to purchase alcohol, but its the fact that someone else's morals are dictating what I can and can not do !

I haven't seen Hall Pass but Dirk Diggler wasn't erect in Boogie Nights. He was just prostectically well endowed and pointing down... I truly worry about myself that I know that

Well, it looks as though we 3 at least are in agreement, then.
