Does anyone here work for them? I got a letter in the mail saying that I need to take a 140 question test, and I was wondering if anyone has an advice to offer about the test, or any comments about it in general. I hate test to begin with, so I want to be a prepared as possible. Thank you!

It's a basic knowledge course for your level. I don't remember anything that difficult but it might vary by area.

When I finished they said "You did exceptional."

I thought, "Yikes, that kind of sucks, there really wasn't anything that interesting on it!"

Relax, ABCs, go home and wait to see if they call.

Yeah its been a few years since I took that exam, but it is pretty basic. If I remember right, there were a few people who didn't do well and they got another chance before they were dropped completely.

We had a practical exam as well, which was a verbal scenario (mine was a trauma, fall down stairs secondary to syncope IIRC) and a hands-on BVM/O2 skills stuff. The "trick" part of the exam was the regulator o-ring was missing and I was supposed to notice and correct the situation haha...

Don't stress it, it is BLS and just the basics at that. You'll do fine.

Yep, they fired him last night. I didn't know until today this was the second complaint like this against him. Appearantly they did not have enough evidence last time.

The ALS upgrade test's sucked! Dunno about the BLS..I was grandfathered in and never had to take them.

I would say drink heavily the night before, and go in with a raging hang over. LOL
