  6. To Tniuqs - Thanks for finding my coffee. Seems like a long road trip to get it back. To BVESBC - 1. Since you seem to be indicating you have knowledge of equipment to lift Ms really Big to the power assisted cot. Please let me know what equipment we should use to lift MS Really Big who fell in an almost prone position between two brick walls with a 28" separation between the walls. After lifting them to a power assisted cot life is great, it is just getting the large person to that piece of equipment that's the problem. 2. Do not slam the people I work with you do not know them nor do you know our lifestyles. 3. 9. No matter what you carry on your person, let your partner know what you have and where it is located. At a recent MVA, my shears came out out my pocket, as did my pen light, pad, pen and gloves all the while I was holding c-spine on one of the many patients

One book gives the physical description of the residence, ie white two story sitting on top of hill with long drive. The second book allows the user to look up address, that references the user to a page to see that section of the county map. Both have proved useful to us.

  17. I prefer the King LT over the Combitube. However, our protocols require the Combitube. The preference is based on ease of use.
  18. To help one of the employees to overcome his color blindness, the Pedi bag and ruler have the colors printed on each section of the strip and on each section of the Pedi bag. So his color blindness does not hinder him
  19. My partner did not like the idea of me amputating anything. My partner did report the incident as an exposure and did have the ER treat. Just trying to find out if there are other protocols to follow But will try to convince my partner that amputating is the best bet
  20. We responded to a patient with respiratory MSRA. While in the Pt's home my partner cut herself. Would this be considered an exposure similar to a needle stick? If so what should my partner do?
  21. What ever method you decide to use, I strongly recommend the use of heavy duty leather gloves when punching the window
