Battery Acid

Rid pretty much summed it up, but I'll throw in my $.02 just so I can sound smart.

The effect of a toxin on the body is dependent on concentration, of course. It was a just a small amount, the damage may be minimal to the surrounding tissue, particularly if it was injected quickly and became diluted in the blood stream. Otherwise, the free hydrogen ions in the battery acid (H2SO4), would cause the proteins in the surrounding area to denature, like what happens when you fry an egg. The veins would become hard as Rid mentioned, and you might even get localized coagulation, but necrosis would be almost a definite. Injections of battery acid and related chemicals are common in industrial accidents, where a high pressure stream of chemicals forces itself beneath the protective dermal layer. A talk with your local poison control center might give you some insight into the overall physiological effects.

And as for the guy being in with the 'wrong crowd', please don't talk about my family that way, okay? :D

An Amish woman was injected battery acid by her Amish husband right around the time this person "Timmy" asked about the affects of battery acid. The husband used a syringe and injected it up her rectum several times. She was already being poison by other products and very ill, which is why he was able to keep her still to inject it. She ended up dying from it.

ok, the question begs to be asked, why would you inject someone with Battery acid. I've heard of drano in the vein but never battery acid.

Was there some reason why you asked this question, did you have a call related to this or is it just curiosity.

I would think that battery acid and skin, vein, artery, system, heart = BAD NEWS BATMAN

Well, if the person that asked is like me, I’m watching a crime show where the person was killed by injecting battery acid-among other things. I’m not planning on doing it either, FYI

Holy Post resurrection batman -  But this paper is one I found.

A 10 minute search of Google produced no other results of battery acid injection.

I think this thread should be closed.
