Timmy
This might sound like a stupid question. What would happen if someone was injected with battery acid in a high and low dosage? How would you treat it? I’ve tried Google and searched the site, with no luck. BTW I’m not planning to inject someone with it.
SARgal
Do you mean Battery Acid as in LSD or as in say, automobile battery acid?
NREMT-Basic
My impression from toxicology class is that any amount would be not a good thing.
Just Plain Ruff
ok, the question begs to be asked, why would you inject someone with Battery acid. I've heard of drano in the vein but never battery acid. Was there some reason why you asked this question, did you have a call related to this or is it just curiosity. I would think that battery acid and skin, vein, artery, system, heart = BAD NEWS BATMAN
becksdad
How in God's name would someone come to be injected with battery acid? Or are you just thinking up new and creative torture methods?

Jimbo
Timmy, I am under the assumption that your talking about Rayon, commonly referred as battery acid. It is made with Sulfuric Acid and water and used as a electrolyte for lead acid storage batteries. Unless your one of those backyard chemists trying to make meth I have no idea why someone would be injected with this stuff. If you are talking like a major spill you would be calling a hazmat or hazwhoper line. Most bigger cities have a special HAZMAT unit in place to handle spills. I am sure if you google Sulfuric Acid or Rayon you will come up with a better understanding of what you are really asking. I really don' understand why you would be asking this. :-k

I have REALLY got to hone my search abilities. I ran searches on google and Ask.com but came up empty except for some MSDS sheets. What engines do you use? Thanks! Ridryder 911
Never had battery acid, however I did have someone that injected themselves with muric acid. We initiated a NaHc03 drip and monitored...yes, he was a cranker... R/r
