Another EMS Series Coming Up?

that makes absolutely no sense

That was taken indirectly from a 1928 Republican Party campaign advertisement: "A chicken in every pot, and a car in every back yard to boot."

It seemed rather fitting as how often you're talking about food/eating (especially in the chat room). I really think you need to stop at your local Walmart, I think they have 'sense of humor' on sale!

Maybe I should be an actor too. You know, so I can get into politics.
You should feel comfortable supporting your political beliefs in whatever profession you choose.

He wasn't running for office. He left to support one. That's a fine thing to do, whatever party you're from.

He should go back to Africa and read his Koran.

Kal Penn? I thought he was asiatic Indian in ancestry, making him Sikk or Hindu. From what I understand, neither of those really gets along with the Muslims, either, but my information could be flawed.

Right, and I'm sure if anyone of us just said we wanted to go support the president, they would be like OK COME ON OVER! No, I don't think so. His celebrity status got him that gig.

That was actually a joke, taken from a couple of the lines in the movie, where the DHS guy accuses them of being Muslim terrorists, or "terrorizers", as President Bush would say. ;)

What does that have to do with him leaving his work to accept a position helping someone he supports? Should he say then say no?

And while his job is acting, he's also educated and had previously been involved in the campaign. Yes, he got a high position because of his status, but a number of my school mates have left their jobs or even school to help campaign.

So did two Republican governors of California. ;)

Not that it takes much to lure anyone away from EMS! :D

True on the first count.

On the second, I meant college classmates, not medic class.

My medic classmates are pretty comfy in their fire careers for the most part :)
