This guy was a habitual liar. He tried to use Viet Nam and some other events in his teen and early adulthood years as a scape goat. You knew he was lying when his mouth moved.

Is he a military veteran, even if he never saw combat?

I think the 'funk smelly guy' is a world wide requirement for EMS!!!! Seems that EVERYONE has "THAT GUY" at their work....LOL  :D

And you guys are right....theres NOTHING that kills that smell.

Oh...we have a guy that could gag a maggot! Cripes, you can't even sit on the couch at the base until you've emptied a can of Fabreeze on it. But...what is almost worse is our resident hippy throwback holistic med spiritualist who burns incense that smells a lot like a chicken coop with roses strewn all over it! Wind chill -10 and we have the windows open at the base to air it out.

Or...how about finding the 'mystery' source of THAT SMELL coming from the base fridge. Someone's 3 week old lunch that has decomped (retch!)

He was in the Navy during Viet Nam, so that does make him a vet. One day he'd tell us how he was with a SEAL detachment and picked something up in the bush. Another time he'd say how was with the Marines as a Hospital Corpsman. Come to find out he was a only a welder on a ship, was never on shore in Viet Nam and the closest thing to combat he saw was if a helicopter landed on his ship and he had to wash it.

Another reason he left the company was because too many of his lies caught up to him.

If you ever seen Taxi with Rev. Jim, he was just like him, but dumber.
