  3. I live in Southern California....any of this striking going on my way...or? Or has it already? If someone could give me quick internet link on this situation, I would really appreciate that. I'm currently researching 3 different amb/companies right now. Thanks!
  4. Phil, Awww....gee. That's creative! Hmmmm....I do wonder what that "perfect man" would be like often. I think you should be a college professor of say relationships 101??!!!..... Naaa...Like they say..."Don't quit your day job"! Take Care hon, Prettyone
  5. I read the posted article out of the Chicago source. I am upset by the Chicago opinion stated. I am surprised me myself being from Chicago....that my home town would say that CPR...worked just as well...cause of people not knowing or using the AED's. I actually have a friend who was saved last year by an AED...in Chicago. And as far as the article stating about the AED's being very expensive over $1000.00. Of course they are expensive. That's what if someone has it available flex-spending if for ( FSA )aka...Flex Spending Account. Now obviously not everyone in America, has this available to them. I firmly believe that AED's do and will work when used properly. I also think our AMERICAN GOVERNMENT should provide some type of reduce payment even more so than FSA...as I stated..above. But, hey I know that will not happen in my generation. A girl can dream though can't she....lol...

  7. Yea..EmsChic69... like your point. Kill em with kindness. I have done that before at my job with people that "think they are all that"! And I'm like " Ahh, no" "No one is better than someone else. And I am living proof it works like a charm. Remember we are here to help people. "Can't we all just get along?" lol
  8. Sounds like that person needs to find a new line of work! How dare that person treat others like that. And the bedside manner being bad to? OMG! That is not good for pt to take!
  9. My song for the day is Candlebox "You" I love it!
  10. OKC...wow! You got something good going on there. Sounds exciting. But does it have a DVD...and wet bar???....naaa...just kidding....lol
  11. For me personally I would have no problem being married to someone in the field. As with any career there are demands, stresses long hours. I am making a career change...to go into this field. And fully understand the demands or wouldn't have wanted to go into this field. If I've made a difference in just one person's life then its all worth it to me. I love helping others. Its soooo rewarding!
  12. I do not feel teachers should be texting, or talking on their phone in class. We send our children to school to learn from them. Besides, there is soooo much violence in the world now at our schools that another distraction on the teacher's end isn't good.
  13. Phil, You always put a smile on my face! Thanks!
  14. Say speaking of Southern Cali...Jw, and/or Anthony M83, Saddleback versus Golden West college for the EMT program?? Need advise,,,ty much.
