    sorry i can't be much help here in the states. it sounds like the bc gov needs to get their head out of their butt or they will face a time when they will have no medics to run then where will they be. I would love to hear their reason why they let patients die because they can't keep medics. so our basics make more than medics that is sick

    after the course where i run we have a minimum of 6 hours of nothing but drive an out of service ambulance. this is to get the driver used to the area. then you are paired up with drivers to show you what is actually done while an emergency is happening,(driving, parking and etc). then and only then can you be approved to drive where i am. besides in PA you don't need a commercial license. all you need is for someone to say you can drive

    we use zip ties. everytime we open them we have to do an inventory and document what we used and show we replaced it. 8)

    here we deal with hershey med. the med students at the hospital are the worst. they think they know everything. the actual residents tell us to ignore them. the resident docs actually want to hear what we have to tell them about the pt's. the nurses there are also know-it-alls

    Any one who thinks this should be put out there for eveyone to see should be shot in my opinion.

    I work for a transport company and I have a problem. One of our emt's was hit from behind while stopped at a traffic light in one of our ambulances. The owner told the lady no harm, then is trying to make the emt pay for repair cost for the bumper. Is this normal or should the emt get legal help with this. The owner did not want the law involved.
