Just Plain Ruff

Incredible night of food, fellowship and fireworks with.my sunday school class tonight. The kids got to awim and the grown ups got to talk. What a night of good times. Thanks to our hosts the Smiths.

Darnit, I got audited and now have to go through all this stuff to prove I've done what Ive done. Darn it. My printer's going to be awfully tired today.

For all my friends in the KC MO area. Do your childrens doctors have privelidges at Childrens Mercy? What I mean is has your childs doctor ever treated your child when they were admitted at childrens or has it always been a childrens mercy doctor? We are in a battle with our childs doctor's office which may end up with us leaving the practice over some things with them. Any insight is welcome here.

pray for my friends the Tysons as they lay their son Noah to rest over the next couple of days. Visitation tomorrow and funeral Friday. Noah Tyson, God speed buddy, hope you are enjoying the fireworks with Jesus and God by your side tonight. You will be sorely missed by all.

What makes perfectly normal people 362 days of the year turn into buttheads for 3 days of the year? Fireworks thats what. And lets mince no words about this, if you are lighting fireworks off at 1045pm at night then you are not a butthead but an Ahole. If you fall in that category and are offended by what I just said then maybe you were up at that time lighting them off?

Just got good news after a weekend of bad. My Project management application was approved and I can now take my test for my project manager certification. No audit will occur. I am so relieved as the audit process could take upwards of 3-4 weeks. This is definately good news.

Josh and Joanna, my heart is hurting so badly for you guys. Noah god speed buddy and I will see you on the flip side buddy. I cannot put into words how much my heart hurts and how much I am praying that God takes you guys into his arms and brings Noah into his kingdom. My family grieves along with yours. From the Ruffs in Raymore, whatever you need we will provide if we can.

Ok, manager of the firestone said if anyone were to go to school to become a service technician that the area to focus on learning would be air conditioning. They cannot find enough guys to fill the empty slots in their company. He said you would be set for your career.

I heard again today that it was time that all Americans paid their fair share. Just who determines what my fair share is and just how much will my fair share be. It seems like my fair share seems to have gone up today.

Day Three down in project management boot camp. Two tests tomorrow. Have submitted my application and playing the waiting game just seeing if I get audited or accepted to take test. Then the real studying takes place.

2nd day of Project management bootcamp done. Have 3-4 hours of homework ahead of me. Yay!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe how much the test will cost to take.

Day 1 of PMP boot camp which begins at 8am sharp and the instructor is no where to be found. Not a good start to the day. Oh,he just walked in.

Updating my bucket list. Adding some career goals that I didn't realize were so close to being completed and only needed an employer to pay for them. I think I might actually have two bucket lists, a personal one and a career one. Can you have two bucket lists?

Ok, if you are a smoker and you drop your cigarette butt on the sidewalk and there is a ashtray right next to where you put your butt then you my friend ARE a litterbug. But if you dump your entire car's ashtray on the parking lot, then you my friend are a big FAT JERK! And yes, I did tell you that you were one and boy you seemed surprised that no-one ever said anything to you.

Ok, last night was excellent. Dinner at the Melting Pot, then a short walk to the Pandora store for a anniversary present for the wife who said "I didn't bring my bracelet" but I said "I did" and I pulled it out of my pocket and my wife beamed with surprise and she picked out a brand new pandora pendant and then a shorter walk to starbucks for a coffee. Then a short drive to the Nelson Museum to view the new Worlds Fair exhibit and finally a drive to the frozen self serve yogurt store to e...

Ok, FACEBOOK Peeps. Need suggestions. Gonna maybe do a roadtrip. Where can I go with the family that we can get to in less than 8 hours of driving and spend a couple of days at. Gotta be good for the kids. Can be north, south, east or West from KC MO. I prefer to do the Captain Ron thing and just start driving, and if I get lost, just pull in somewhere and ask for Directions. But the wife won't go for that. So what's a good place to end up that's good for the family?

Why are there wheelchair spaces set aside at the top of the stairs at the AMC theaters with no ability to get wheelchairs to the top of the theaters except to pull them up the stairs all the while there are no wheelchair seating areas set aside down at the level where you walk in. At least not at this particular IMAX theater. Not sure of the rest of this theater itself but the one individual theater we were in, if you were in a wheelchair, goodluck getting up the stairs.

At childrens south with Liam for his sleep study. Nothing major.

So what would for cops at gate A2 door, 2 cop cars, and 2 black Suvs on the tarmac outside A2 mean do ypu think?

AS I sit here in my hotel room for the last night in Maryland, I look back and think, I really liked this project and will miss working at this client. What a great group of people. Now I get a forced vacation to begin to stress on where my next client will be based out of?
