I don't even want to hear it. Unless one of you has had the experience of literally getting out of the ambulance with the sirens blaring, walking up to the yuppie scum in front of you yakking on their cell phone and literally telling them to move out of the way, no one has traffic problems even close to mine.

Only in New York.

I don't see why the siren can't be programmed to repeatedly play, "MOVE THE F*$K OVER!", in a dialect appropriate for one's geographic region, of course.

With the addition of push bars on the front bumper so if they still don't want to listen to you, you can take it to the next level by moving them out of the way yourself without getting out of your unit.

The damnable thing is, you touch the back of the vehicle that is not moving out of the way with either the front bumper, push bars, or cowcatcher bars, they WILL claim you hit them, and sue the company, the patient either on board or that the ambulance is on the way to attend to, the crew, the dispatch center, the ambulance manufacturer (both the chassis and the patient area conversion people), and will usually win, or get a hefty out of court settlement.
