Speak with your English teacher and have them review your work after typing, if you are seriously considering pursuing a professional career, and an upper level education.

Continuation of such erroneous mistakes, display lack of understanding and proper usage of the English language.

R/r, should you not have used a colon to start his list, unless the statement preceding the list could stand alone as a complete sentence?

To tniuqs & R/r on the topic of the colon my understanding is although the colon is often used to introduce a list of items, it should be preceded by a complete sentence or definitive statement which could stand on its own. I understand the reason for this is that the colon is meant to replace the period whilst indicating a list is to follow.
