Like others have said, it depends on your area. Police often respond to EMS calls, but not always. In my area, they are advised of EMS calls but are not required to respond to them, unless in certain circumstances. So, unless someone called and reported the person being pushed, most likely police would not come where I am at. Did the person that pushed them call 911? Did the person that got pushed call? In instances like this, if PD did come, they would probably NOT ride in the ambulance. They would meet the EMS crew at the hospital. If the person whom was injured committed the crime, then PD would more than likely ride a long.
