Hi all!!! Iam new here, obv. My goal/dream is to be a paramedic. Can anyone tell me if my ignorant, rebellious teenage mistake would hold me back from attending any of the EMT programs or Paramedic programs ?!?!? I have a misdemeanor poss. Of marijuana charge, it was over two years ago, and is my only charge on my record. Any response would be greatly appreciated yall!!!!

Welcome to the City! It's highly unlikely, assuming the case is adjudicated. Just make sure you report it on any application that asks if you have such.

I personally know people who have been approved by the state of TEXAS and have similar misdemeanor charges. Just make sure you report it on your applications.
