  1. i'm not sure how accurate this is but it seems to be about right for me in California http://www.indeed.com/salary?q1=EMT&l1=Austin,+TX
  2. here's a link to approved facilities and also the study material for the test you'll have to take http://ems.lacounty.gov/Certification/ExpScopeClasses.pdf http://de.lbcc.edu/e-courses/webenhanced/syllawebs/emt/reno/Expanded-Scope.pdf i would recommend going to california institute of emergency medical training matthew goodman is a very good instructor

    Hi!

I would recommend getting your resume and cover letter spiced up and also apply with all the ambulance companies serving your local communities You could also apply to hospitals for an ER tech position depending on how much experience they require
  5. I noticed there are some employers that require this and I tried to google more on this but can't find much information in it. So that's why I'm here wondering if anyone has some information or could link me to a website, thanks!
  6. hello all i've recently completed the EMT course and am now NREMT certified. i look forward to preparing myself to get into paramedic school and know that i should be taking prep courses such as chemistry, anatomy, physiology, acls and such. i'm curious whether or not there's a certain order you guys would recommend i take these courses to better understand each course? any feedback would be appreciated, thanks! i'm sure i left out some courses on the list above but if you recommend anything else please let me know
  7. hello all i have finished my emt basic course and tested for the nremt certification 2 weeks after completing the course. i'm in the process of getting the county certification but i've noticed that i see employers requiring a medical exam certification. i've tried a google search on what that is but couldn't really find much info on it. i was wondering where do i get that? thanks all
