The first video is to show you 1 lap, the record lap of just over 2 minutes so you get an idea of the circut. This one is at the bottom of the straight, it is just at a right hand 290Km/h+ bend & not the ideal way to take the turn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwPgPqTMeco Testimony to the strength of race cars today. To be honest Richard, Emergency never came to mind, the lap was amazing & stood for 7 years, & was only beaten this year. Considering the advancments in engine managment, aerodynamics etc, even though this is a street circut that is used once per year, to have a record stand for that period is an amazing effort & testiment to the fantastic drive & cohesion of the team to maintain the car to then allow the drivers to maintain an average speed of approx 95 mph for 161 laps is a great effort.
