Are we? How many other professions are there where the practitioners can walk up on a call where some guy decided to use his head as a pencil eraser to mark out the white line on the highway, and while walking up to him say "there's a thought...Oh there's another thought, one more thought."

I had a job interview, at a private EMS organization, in which the interviewer stated to me that he thinks everyone in the world is crazy... and that everyone in EMS is especially crazy. He made some remark about how we can look at a burnt corpse and make comments about BBQ for dinner and go on like nothing happened, that its truley crazy.

I wanted so much to agree with him but I could do nothing but keep quiet. For all I knew it could have been a trick psychological question.
