not neccesarily...you could do like we are taught in CERT....organize the pack the way you want it...then have your partner were yours and you wear theirs so you can just take stuff out of the back without taking it off

well I know I'm not a full blown EMS responder, but ive been doing ride along for a year now. My first call was a car crash on the interstate. After seeing what all had happened to the people in the car, lets just say I always no matter what wear my seatbelt now. -
