OK, u know what.. instead of bringing something the first day, I'll check out what the coffee situation is, then bring in something the next day... Nowadays Keruig machines are very popular, so I should see what they have there..

then maybe instead of coffee, I'll bring powder creamer and sugar..

I think I would bring coffee. like, the cans of coffee grounds, I assume they have a coffee maker, I'll also bring sugar and creamers and etc...

I tried the emultors, somehow I cannot get the google play or android market to download the app... I was just hoping there would be a copy online somehow.

About FDNY. I like to say ef dee N why, because it doesnt really make a word... but I have heard some others refer to it as FID KNEE. makes no sense to me... what is the offical way to say it ?

Hi FDNY guys, I am looking to read the ems operating guide, but the only copy of the ems operating guide I can find online is for the Android, and it is a free app, but too bad I have the iphone. Would anyone have a CD rom of the guide that they can somehow share ? or maybe a link to a PDF of the book somewhere on the net ? Thank you all in advance.

I guess I will try to cover coffees and lunch, but ill have to see where they go for that, it does get expensive here in NYC !

Hi, any FDNY guys around? I will be going for a ride along on BLS and ALS buses with the FDNY sometime in the near future. I would like to know if there are anything I should know before going, perhaps some tips on what to look for, or tips for proper ride along etiquette. I have a couple of uniform questions for you FDNY guys/girls. Why do I never see FDNY EMS in cargo pants ? I think cargo pants are awesome. Why dont the Shirt and Jackets match up ? The shirt has two shoulder patches and FDNY - EMT in the front, but the Jacket has just one shoulder patch, and instead of FDNY - EMT, it has the FDNY - Name. What is the policy on collar brass ? I see it on some shirts, I dont see it on others, If I see it on shirts, I dont see it on jackets. I swear: one time I saw one collar brass on just one side of the jacket and nothing else. The reason for my curiosity is that I am former military, and we took uniformity of our uniforms very seriously, even if it isnt the class A... the NYPD seems to have very good uniform continuity, and they have cargo pants.. thanks for your help guys, stay safe.
