  1. there is much missing here......but since trying to get info from a nurse at a facility in this region is like pulling teeth, and what my command phys wants, they would get transported on the side of safety of the pt, treat the pt for the complaint and bring to the ed, and if finding out the someone previously did not want to transport the pt in said status report that little discrepency to authorities.

  2. and numbers like most corporate places have a way of getting.........changed unless i sit down with a charity and work out the arrangements. sorry but i cant trust them. i know they mean very well, but maybe the two sides need to come out in public and state what they agreed uppon and then let us make our decision. or if no agreement was made how this all came to be?????

there needs to be some good faith of both sides to be honest, fair and partial, other wise there will be no trust and charities who do try and put fourth an effort are lost, and thats not fair.

yes places have over head costs, but sometimes it just looks like greed and the ones who need, are short changed. :?

  3. ok yes have to agree that possible panic attack, or......newbie fever, the excitement and the action of things going on then the aaaah and the pt will be fine and people can relax. now you relax and changing you response mode in your body. well you havent eaten or something so your body shifts modes, container relaxes and opens up and pressure drops and we go white and pale and have a slight problem compensating. my guess...combonation of psychogenic shock and something else.

  4. ok thats a new one but as one previous person stated, and cataract surgery, facial trauma, or lazy eye surgery.???? nothing surprises me and expect to see weird shit, definitly sounds like something to as a optomitrist or opthamologist see if you can get some sorry for the pun insight to the situation.

  5. dahlio,

ok i used to be in nj and it is good to seem them move foward, being an als provider this is one thing i dont see too much of an issue with. all the training institutions in nj i think they should be very well able to get people to discern anaphlaxis with just a mild reaction, in many many cases that i responded to for "anaphaxis" only had to do 2 times of diphenhydramine and epi. you guys can do this, just know what a good reaction is and if they are allergic to something more times than most they will have allready have stabbed themselves. go fourth and learn...dahlio if you do go for als be sure that it is what ya wanna do. ask get ride time.
