      I can't remember her name, but she's a vollie in Balmorhea and works for Air Stat and out in Marfa. Apparently her father is one of the local DPS Sgts... :S That part scares me :P

      And FISDAP IS PURE EVIL!

      Well that was fun. My hatred of FISDAP has been renewed in full force... but there's a cute girl in class who lives in my county and volunteers for the vollies south of me... Maybe I'll have a study buddy/ car pool partner... Did I mention she's cute? :P

      Not picky about when they start hiring :) Thanks again for making sure it got to the right person. I just know that when I'm on semester break extra money would always come in handy.

    I like my service... but I swear I might kill a medic or three that work there. Glad I'm running my app down to the next county south tomorrow. Who knows, maybe I'll like it htere better and try to move to FT there and PT at my current service

      Good point. It's just it's ungodly apparent in a service that has less than 20 employees...

      Nope :P Once I get my AAS in Paramedicine here I'm planning a move back to ABQ to get my BS-EMS and then back to CO :)

    I hate the "Holidays". All of them. In fact, I've hated 2007-2010, as well. If I could be sedated till X-Mas is over, I would.

    Oh YUM! Delicious way to eat leftover bowtie pasta... throw it in a skillet with some frozen peas, warm up thoroughly with some olive oil, serve drenched in balsalmic vinegar... YUM!

    Don't forget to unplug the ambulance before leaving the bay or else you will show up on scene with the extension cord hanging off the side of the ambulance! OOPS!!!

    Have to head to the city today to fill out paperwork so I can register for P-school in the Spring :) I'd say that counts as official notice I'm in, huh?

      I think Midland. Steve Barry is in charge of the Medic program at OC. And trust me I think it's a year too long in coming to get back in :P

    Is mad at Oprah for taking over Discovery Health's channel starting January. Why can't she take over Lifetime or something. Now Disc. Health has to find a new chanel, and who knows what that will be.

      I grew up in small towns (in fact that town I've been living in with my parents is smaller than pecos :P)so unfortunately I'm very used to the politics.

      And just to let you know, PCEMS is looking for 4-5 more FT EMT-I and EMT-Ps

      My original cards (state certs, AHA, PEPP, etc)are all in my backpack, and all my large certs (FEMA, CEVO, etc) are in a filing cabinet... but I have .pdfs of all of them saved to google documents :)
