  1. I would want vitals, SAMPLE, pupils, O2 sat. Any sign of trauma? Smells in house or AOB for pt.? W/o any other info or history...I would consider various DX meningitis, migraine, hemorrhage/aneurysm, infection, stroke, carbon monixide. If the pt's aao a history would be very pertinent. Anyone else in the house?
  2. Yikes, have fun then ERdoc. Hope you're in the psych ward.
  3. 128 lbs at 3 months preg- 119 lbs after leaving the hospital 4 months preg. Wouldn't recommend this weight loss program
  4. A new isotope for iron?? No, not that I know of. (I haven't dealt with the periodic tables since Organic Chem. and so don't know anything about a different form) I was just being lazy but thanks for the spell check. And my baby was fine, full term after all the sh** and mistakes we went through.
  5. Bingo! Sorry- can't provide vitals as I was the patient. But it was a ruptupted appendix, followed by peritonitis. True, not much to do except transport aside from IV, O2, and vitals. Just another diagnosis to keep in mind. Being pregnant this DX never crossed my mind, nor the docs at the hospital for way too many hours! (By the way, they let me lay in the OR and debated in front of me whether it was safe to put me under or not...pleeeasseee- at least leave the room  )
  6. Well, I thought you might ask. But LRQ and but radiating across lower quad
  7. ok- what sector is the abd pain???
  8. vomiting x 2 days + on the IV what other blood tests might be done?? for poss dx, r/o migraine, morning sickness. UTI, eptopic or molar preg would be a consideration, or course infection- good call- but separate the fact she is preg and look at the symptoms....
