3 nurses find a genie lamp

Three nurses are walking along the beach when they find an old lamp. One of the

nurses rubs the lamp and out pops a genie! "For freeing me, I'll give each of you one

wish," annouces the genie. The first nurse says, "I want to be twice as smart as I am

now, that way I'll be a better nurse." The genie puts his hand to his temple and

concentrates, then smiles and says, "It is done." The second nurse declares, "Well, I

want to be ten times as smart!" Again, the genie concentrates and then says, "It is

done." The third nurse, not to be outdone, asks, "Can you make me one hundred times

smarter than I am now?" The genie puts his hand to his temple, then pauses and askes

the third nurse, "Are you sure you want to be a paramedic?"

Hmmmm humorous but, let's see nurses average pay 20 30% more than EMS, career ladder 80% more, diversity 90% more... maybe he should ask for a smarter Genie.

Well, I love it and I have never heard it before even if it is ten years old.....and the last time I checked I wasn't doing this for the money, diversity, career ladder, etc etc etc

Guys....no offense...but after you've been here a while you'll understand not to snipe at Rid until you know what he's talking about.

You'll notice that no one with over 20 posts have taken offense to what he said...Read a few more threads and you'll see what he means..

He's not slamming Medics....it's just "I'm a medic, why can't I do a nurse's job?" Is a pretty common thread...often asked and answered.
