My first EMT class was in November of 1975. It was at the Emergency Department at Rosey Roads Naval Hospital in Puerto Rico. I still remember one my patients. He was a LCDR from the Aircraft Carrier that was in Puerto Rico at that time. He was on the flight deck. He was leaning over to look under the wing when the wheel of the fully loaded tomcat rolled over his foot. We transported him to the ED.
