Just wanted to say hi to all. I have been most impressed by the way everyone here looks out for each other. By that I mean the positive comments made to a member about a particular bad call that member had been on. Everyone here seems to have genuine concern for someone I am assuming they have never even met. Those are the kind of EMS people that I hope to work with some day.

I am a volunteer First Responder for a local F.D. for the past 8 years and have recently passed my EMT Basic class. So in the mean time I am looking for the "perfect" EMT job to fulfill my "dreams". I would also like to take my Paramedic class next year maybe. Having trouble convincing the hubby and kids on that one though.

I look forward to reading more encouraging posts here. And hopefully learn some great things along the way.
