Here that is the work for the House Surgeons and ED Registrars, the Consultant generally has a hands off supervisory and consultation role across the Department. Obviously they get involved in sick patients but its fair to say they do not actually do a lot of hands on case management/assessment/diagnosis as the primary care provider Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
