Hello everyone,

I just passed my NREMT exam! What a sigh of relief. I've been listening to people tell horror stories about how difficult it is for months now. A little apprehensive, but I bit the bullet and signed up. Since there is'nt any feedback as you go through the exam or at the end it made me a little nervous. For anyone thinking about going through a Fire Academy and an EMT class I would suggest a little forward thinking and space them out. I went through both at the same time and it was brutal.

Thanks to all the words of wisdom and encouragement.

Chris

It's good to be here. Spent the last 5 years on a volunteer dept. and assisted on numerous medicals so I figured this was the logical next step.

Any pointers on vendors to supply my med bag that won't cost me a second mortgage? I've got one built for my personal vehicle, since that's more than likely respond with, and man are they proud of some of this stuff.

Yes your service. If they want you to respond they need to supply you.

Also make sure you are covered by the medical director and the service insurance. Another thing to consider is if you have lights on POV make sure your insurance company still covers you.
