The air conditioning MUST work in addition to the heater. It has to be able to carry 2 stretcher patients, so no van units please. If your department, squad, service, whatever has a unit they are interested in selling, please PM me with details and we will go from there. AK... Richard B the EMT Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 While I have no idea if they are selling any of their ambulances or mini-pumper companies, you might want to contact (via Google for contact information) the Roxbury VFD & Rescue, the Rockaway Point VFD & Rescue, or the Point Breeze (possibly also listed as Breezy Point) VFD, for help. ALL their apparatus has 4 wheel drive, as they have a lot of coverage area in off road sand. If they are not selling any of their equipment, they can probably put you in contact with those who purchased their equipment in the past, who, in turn, can advise as to location and availability of equipment that meets your requirements.
