Ambulance accident, am I liable?

That's what I thought..... You said "The owner told the lady (that hit the ambulance) "No harm". He, at that point, took resposibility for the scene. Not to worry. You are not at fault from what you say....nor do you have to pay anything if what you said was fact based. The "Lady" can be your witness.

Don't stress it. You can always mention, if he threatens you in any way, that you will call the local news. Don't be intimidated. Again...he asumed responsibility when he, as the "owner" said "No harm".

I'd bail on that service. The owner sounds like the one I worked under for about five years. The ambulance driver was not at fault. He shouldn't have to pay for any damage. Seems like the owner is a miser and just trying to not have to pay for it himself. As the owner he is responsible for all his units. If he doesn't want that responsibility, he needs to get out of the business.
