EMT-B Exam tips

Recommended Posts

Anybody has any? I been studying hard and take my test on the 8th.

You're doing all you need to do. Just go for it. And if you fail, admit that you simply aren't cut out for this and move on, because seriously, it is easier than any of the dozens of classes you passed in high school. Good luck!

Don't second guess, stay calm & collected, verbalize what you're doing; stay focused, and pay attention to every detail you're given in Practicals; and the written should be quite easy.

OMG. I agree with Dust. faint.gif

First, allow me to clarify; I'm not saying this to the Original Poster, I mean in general.

There should be a law, no offense to anyone, if you cannot pass the class on the first try.. It should be at least five years before you can take the class again, and test. No retesting. The course is spaced out and simple enough, that it's unacceptable to not know what you were taught in a span of just 120-140 hours.

Just relax. Don't over-think things and make them more complicated than they are. Remember to start off with the basics. ABC's, O2, etc. Don't get in a hurry, take your time. Pay attention and don't get distracted.

You'll do fine. Good luck. :thumbleft:
