Doc Bledsoe is getting ready for us. Are you going?

"EMStock is a unique gathering of EMS and public safety personnel. EMStock was the brainchild of several Texas EMS providers and has developed into a national event. The purpose of EMStock is to build and strengthen the EMS community by providing a place and time where everyone can meet on an equal basis and share ideas and dreams. By removing the obvious alliances, certifications, egos and attitudes and creating a social atmosphere, EMStock serves as the singular event where any EMS provider with any idea can be heard on equal footing with everyone else. Because of this we ask that everyone "check their certifications, and affiliations, egos and attitudes at the gate."

With EMStock as America's most unique EMS Conference you get:

Accredited EMS education by top speakers and educators

Live, quality entertainment on the EMStock stage

Texas chili cook-off

Texas barbecue cook-off (new for 2008!)

Fellowship and fun "

Is that an armadillo holding that guitar? The only one of those critters I have seen was a gray cake, sold during intermission, at a performance of Steel Magnolias.

Yup. When run over they become a Texas frisbee.

Sounds like a good time *I hope spenac does not get arrested again this year!* I think I need to move to a big city cause we never have any good stuff like that here.

That was dropped because witnesses disappeared.

Actually even though you cross several states to get there you are not much further away than I am. Texas is big.
