  1. In my opinion, this show is equivalent to a bad train wreck. It is horrible, but you just can't help but look. Cynic
  2. Dustdevil, with all due respect, I have taken a CPR class from RaceMedic. I found him to be very thorough and very conscientious of what he was teaching and how. Before you cast an opinion on his teaching style, may I suggest you audit his class? Do not make assumptions based on what you haven't seen (Race's teaching). Many times, people have requested him to teach the classes because he is refreshing and thorough...not because he lets them out early. He makes sure that a person is performing the technique properly, and he doesn't accept anything half a**ed. If he sees anyone doing this half a**ed, he will stop them right there and model the proper way, and then have them try again. That is what makes a great instructor. The ability to tell someone what they are doing wrong and then telling them how to fix the problem. Again, I respect your opinion, but it is just that. An opinion. Cynic
  3. I myself don't feel like I drink too much. However, if you ask some, they will tell you that I am probably a drunk because I will occassionally have a drink to shut my mind off. Otherwise I will stay up all night long thinking about everything...I am a fun drunk though...I like to pinch male's nipples when I have been drinking. Although I don't have to be drinking to pinch my husband's. I love his nipples. Cynic
  4. I just have my little blue Kyocera slider phone. It doesn't do any fancy tricks except for accept calls and dial out. I use it for work and personal. I don't have the money like Race to get one that does neat tricks. I must have spent all of my money on my Lika M7 with the built in light sensor! Cynic
  5. I may be way off base because I am just a student myself, but what I have found that works for me is to look at everything as a scenario. When I am watching t.v. I role play, when I am out driving around, I role play. I also have no fear in asking questions with others whom are higher certified. This is a great opportunity to learn something. It wouldn't hurt to ask the question, "what would you do different?" They will not only see your zeal for learning, but also develop a greater respect for you. Besides, don't put too much pressure on yourself to perform in front of the big wigs. You need to remember that they were once in your shoes. Ask them how they were able to overcome their performance anxiety. Don't just accept that they tell you that you are too wordy. Have them explain what is too wordy and how they would have said it. I hope this helps!
  6. I am glad for you! Isn't it great to see the light at the end of the tunnel and think... yes, now I can really move forward!
