Personaly I feel if you go into the EMS system its because you care for others. There are people out there that do join the system too. wether it be they lost a family member, a best friend, or just they like the smile they get form helping someone on the street. I make sure before I hire someone that they will not lose or forget the reason they wanted to become an EMT-B, I, P, or an volly member. The ones I do pay you can bet if they were to slip and forget why they do what the do. They would be talked to. Or something around that. Join because you want to help others. Not for MONEY!!! Yes sadly I have and so have my workers. It is very rude when people on the street do not understande the way the EMS system has changed. I can say though its not all the peoples falt. there are volly comps out there that need just one EMT-B an aid and a driver. The aids and drivers just need to be CPR trained. Good Bye Hannah

yes thats very true!! they keep me busy, well if not the babies, the people that i have to keep tabes on them at the Rescue Squad.
