Thanks for your e-mail about KOTEX® SECURITY® tampons. We appreciate the opportunity to respond.
The Food and Drug Administration standardized tampon absorbency labeling so that "regular," "super" and "super plus" will mean the same, regardless of the brand of tampon.
The following ranges have been established:
• Regular 6-9 grams
• Super 9-12 grams
• Super Plus 12-15 grams
Please be advised that we have not tested our KOTEX SECURITY tampons for tamponading and cannot recommend it for this type of use. Additionally, we are not at liberty to disclose the amount of fluid our KOTEX® feminine products can absorb.
We appreciate your interest in our products. Thanks again for your e-mail.

It's not rocket science forget that demand valve and pocket mask crap when are you going to use that? You're not.
1. Oxygenation and ventilation are not the same thing, just because you cram O2 down somebodies throat dont mean its going to reach the brain and vital organs
2. Most people don't need oxygen; chest pain, abnormal airway, hypoxia, SPO2 < 96% RA or shock are exceptions
3. Those that do, 99% require like two litres on a cannula
4. NC 2-4lpm, nebs 8lpm, NRB mask 10lpm and BVM 15lpm; I've never used an ordinary face mask.
Note that SPO2 is not always reliable, again use your head, if somebody is smurf blue but has SPO2 of 100% chances are something is wrong.
Oh, and if your partner tells you smurf blue patients who have SPO2 of 100% do not need oxygen .... you're in Los Angeles.
Did I mention Los Angeles recently?
If that doesnt make sense let me know.
yes i understand all this but i have to know this chart to pass my class

What has changed about this question since the last time you asked it?
http://www.emtcity.c...ing-for-a-quiz/
You never did explain to us exactly what you are talking about. And it is not immediately evident.
Can you at least respond to this thread instead of just asking a question and disappearing for three months?
because this is the only station im having issues on and would be the only reason i would fail so i have to know it and its just not working ill scan the paper in hold on

Specific vital signs? You don't get the concept of "shock" do you?
Robbins and Coltrans "Pathological Basis of Disease" offers a good primer on what shock is. Chapter 4.
i get the concept of shock this is what my instructor is asking diffrent shocks can have diffrent vitals

Are you going for a cert., or associate of science in Paramedic studies?
i dunno to be honest the school i go to has a paramedic program as well so i could go there or i could take the 2yrs and spend 24k on schooling at the major college here
which i don't have.
are your talking about right now or for paramedic right now after doing this course i get nothing but the knowledge that shows im good enough to do my job and proficient enough to save life's which in the end is the only real thing that matters anyways. after im done with this program then i can go take the NREMT test WHEN i pass it i will then become an EMT-B.

And, as I stated before, use these forums to practice your writing skills. Take some of the criticism from some of the older members (spenac being the oldest) as a little push for you to strive for excellence. I have seen your posts on two different forums and I like your enthusiasm. I think you will do very well in EMS.
Well thank You i really hope so
