If someone is not smart enough, or too lazy to google "flight paramedic", should they even bother to apply?????? Will they have the stamina to complete the years of training necessary and obtain the alphabet soup certifications to get the job?

Did it ever occur that this person may have googled "flight paramedic" and it brought them here? Isn't this a site dedicated to all aspects of EMS?

If you were looking for information about car repair, wouldn't you go to a site that has mechanics so you can ask. This idea that people should not come to this site seeking advise and knowledge on how to get into this profession is ludicrous.

Even if the question has been asked before, guide them in the right direction. This is a huge site and sometimes people need help. Chewing them out and belittling them only makes you, and us look bad.

This poster is from a foreign country and based on where they are from they are trying to translate to get info. I am sure after the warm welcome shown above, they won't be back.

I have not forgotten about it. I have been extremely busy. I also want to get the categories and sub-categories right the first time.

The issue of repetitive questions is something all subject-based web forums have to endure. The problem with the up-board solutions is they don't take into account that all knowledge is fluid.

Sure, there's nothing wrong with broad based FAQs, but if you point all such inquires to a FAQ it stagnates knowledge, and blocks "new" opinions and thoughts on the subject. Granted, it's a balancing act, and that's why it’s a tough problem, but otherwise it's like saying, "here's the final word on a subject," and besides being very ego-centric, there's really no such thing . . .

Yeah, that's not cool man. There's a reason you have to pay to take EMT class, instructors make money off of their knowledge and teaching abilities. Recording them and broadcasting it without there permission is tantamount to stealing.

How about a pelican type case. I use pelican stuff for my laptop and projector. Great product.

I am not sure if it comes with foam to protect, but I am sure you could get it.

I have seen the cheap on e-bay.
