    This scene was used as an example at my last btls class it was a horrible tragedy. Out of respect to the family of the young lady that lost her life that day and the medics that were on the scene I will nnot go into detail as what was said in class. But I will say that ya'll are too quick to judge the medics it can happen to you too if you are not careful and check everybody at a wreck scene.

    I had a run one time where the man was arrested for dwi, and while they were booking him in jail he started more & more like a diabetic even though he had been caught drinking. So, we transported him to the hospital. Where we were informed that he was both ETOH and hyopogylcmic; due to him not eating and drinking alot his blood sugar had went hugh then bottomed out. So, ETOH runs can turn into something else.

    I agree EMT's don't know everything & my question is to the one that posted before you where did you say you got to be a paramedic in 12 weeks? Where I am going it takes close to 2 years to get my A.A.S. degree as a paramedic not that i'm complaining I want to learn everything I can.

    This is a true storey I was called out to stand by for a grass fire the other day we get paged out for structure fires a lot, however; this was the first time I was called to stand by for a grass fire.

    Hi, I am Rhonda from Texas I an EMTB I have been vonulnteering on an ems for 14 years. Now I am going to school getting my A. A. S. degree as a paramedic. My goal is to become a flight paramedic.
